workshop in Alpharetta GA area?

Anyone have any leads on workspace for rent in Alpharetta or close by? I just moved here, but to an apartment, so nowhere to work for now.
 
Did you ask anyone in Alpharetta ? Did you do some Google searches?
Just kidding ( sort of).

Try calling some real estate and rental agents. They should know who to check with. Also, find the industrial areas and go down to look around. Ask someone there if they know any availability.
Look around town for a closed or out of business store , gas station, or small auto dealership. Often they can be rented for nearly nothing in preference of staying empty and being vandalized.
Also, look for mini warehouses, auto garage space rentals, and similar locations. A google search in "Mini- warehouse, Alapharetta, GA " shows quite a few between Alpharetta and Roswell.
Alapharetta is a pretty big town, with lots of business area, so there should be plenty of spaces available.
 
Might check with Andy Roy, Fiddleback Forge, he just opened up his shop up in Cumming. He and Dylan have been looking a while and may have some good lead/suggestions for you. He has a subforum hear on BF.
 
I've been checking online so far. We have just been here about 2 weeks so the leg work is just starting. The closest I have found so far is a former bodyshop, a small 2 bay garage.

I saw in an old post where you suggested a portable shop. I'm thinking of going that route. I would not feel comfortable leaving my equipment in many of the places I have been so far, even though I do love the area.

Thanks for the response. I'm looking forward to jump starting my hobby now that we are settled in a little.
