Has anyone here dealt with http://www.worldknives.com/ before? What were your impressions? I'm considering a purchase from them, but I wanted to check their reputation first.

Thanks,

The site is owned and operated by a relative of one of my coworkers (brother-in-law or something). Though I've never ordered from this site, I've been given the impression that its owner is a bona-fide knife-knut and an upstanding businessman.

worldknives would be a no brainer for me. I live about 30 miles from them. They do not have a store front, only warehouse. So if you have any trouble ordering from them keep my email address and I could do a little investigating.
Take care.

Hi Razor.

I've ordered a few items from them, and you couldn't ask for a better bunch. Chris always went the extra mile for me. They often auction some of their popular items over on Bladeauction as well. I had them special order a fighter from Lion Steel for me, and It came without a hitch. I really like it. Extremely sharp and a nice leather sheath.

Guess that's a definite thumbs up, then. Thanks, everyone.

Looked at a knife I was interested in.
Next day Listed as Out of Stock.
A few days later listed as back in stock.

Impressed that they keep it so up to date.

Lots of big companies let you order anything,
then send a backorder notice.

They processed my payment and
had the blade in my hands in three days by priority mail.

I'd do business there again.

The blade was a disappointment.
But given the price and lack of manufacturer attribution,
I wasn't too surprised.
I asked no questions before buying,
because I wanted it as an example of the type.
For the same reason I never thought to ask about returning it.
