world trade center knife set

most people told me it was a stupid idae to start with and who in their right mind would give a crap about knives made from the steel.

That is not true. It's a great idea. I've seen the knives and they are wonderful.

i guess some people are not interested because there are no butterflys in the set

There might be some folks like that out there, but I have a few non-butterfly knives myself and I do find this set interesting. Right now, I'm trying to get up the courage to walk into my bank and ask Angie to write me a "Letter of Honor." I've never done that before.

I don't think having a butterfly knife in the set is going to make someone decide to buy it. I think it's the $25k price tag and a limited audience of people who would buy it. I doubt many people on these forums are in the position to spend $25k on a set of knives. I think it's a beautiful set and if I had that kind of spare change laying around I'd be honored to purchase them. I think it's a great idea and I think it's worth at least $25k. I'm sure there are people out there that would spend that much, or more, on this set. I just feel the people who would be in a position to purchase it don't know about it.

Also trying to sell a $25k item from an eBay account with 0 feedback can't help matters. You could have had someone who would love to pay $25k look at that set and then look at your feedback rating and move on. These would be people who don't know about the project other than the first time they saw it on eBay. They might think it's some kind of scam.

Don't worry about the feedback. This consulting company creates a new eBay account for each auction. They sold two airplane tickets for $60,000 recently with zero feedback.

Normally, on eBay, you do look for a high positive feedback. But, on an auction like this, it is understood that this is a special account made just for this auction. People who buy $60,000 airplane tickets and $25,000 knives understand that.

the only reason i made the butterfly comment was to stir the pot a little with the butterfly guy. whom i met in atl. at the blade show. yes i am the very same good looking spokesmodel who was displaying the set.
