Its was scheduled to end noon 2moro, the thing is i have an appointment at the VA 2moro at 9am (philadelphia weather permitting) so i might not be back at exactly noon so it will end at noon or the moment i get back if passed noon.
 
It's a tie once again. I happen to be flippers uncle from up north. I haven't seen him in three years but we talk occasionally. He has just recently gotten into knives and the like. I'm impressed with this kid as he is only 14!!!(Don't worry his parents are cool with this and will sign whatever is needed). Anyway, good luck to all.
 
14.....Man yall going to get me in trouble..... id almost rather not known for plausible deniability.

Ok as it stands it looks like the winner will be under 18. i had known about camh being 16 but i had that covered. but i had not known flipper was 14 before now and i never put must be over 18 so thats my own fault. if Flipper wins i will need you to have your parent or guardian call me and let me know its ok, i will need to ship it to the adult, i will need your parent or guardian to give me there name and address over the phone to ship the knife to, If camh wins, due to being overseas and shipping charges im sending him the same amount i would spend on the knife via paypal so he can order the knife himself since amazon wont ship knives to australia, since im not shipping a knife to camh i will not need verification.

I apologize for the inconvienance but id be upset if someone was shipping knives to my children without me knowing.

I probably should have told you that I was only 14 when I entered so that you would know. Really sorry about that. I've already read your post to my parents and if I win they are willing to speak with you whenever it is most convenient for you.
 
Ok then no worries. Honestly age is just a number, i had a full time job after school at 12 years old. i bought all my own clothes, shoes, needs, and wants at 12 and every since. my father didnt worry about me having a knife as i had plenty, even had my own rifle at this point. But responsibilty comes to different people at different ages and in these days in time we have to be careful, not knowing you personally i cant judge how responsible you are and with the laws the way they are i just need to cover myself. But as long as i can talk to your parents and they agree to it then we are golden!

Chances of me winning now are starting to look slim...Doubt I'll get 4 extra votes by the end.

Flipper it doesnt look like i can email you, I have gotten a couple of emails about this already and from non-contestants at that. i tried to keep this private but cant contact you. "your uncle" has only one post and just joined. it doesnt bother me if he becomes an active member but if not i will be offended for your lack of integrity. Either way you and your uncle should email me so i can run an ip address search and see if he really is in another location than you. he comments he is from up north, this is easy enough to prove. Both need to email from the email account you used to sign up to bladeforums with. then i can settle this once and for all.

If it is indeed your uncle he should still be an active member Camh might have 20 uncles, so should they all join just to help him get a free knife? then disappear from the board? i have been watching and that accounts hasnt logged in to the forum since that single vote/post. and then you shot past him within an hour or so.

Im disappointed i even have to write this, i was going to let it slide until i got my 2nd email concerning this situation. i have to be fair and if i dont ask about this there will be some upset with me, and its nowhere near my fault, i was trying to do something nice for the board and meet the members in the process. i plainly stated i wanted the "members" to pick the winner, i clearly asked for integrity.

If i ever have another contest i will limit it to adults.

Maybe he convinced his uncle to sign up and vote for him to help him win. Still not much better though...
 
If his uncle becomes an active member ill have no problem with it, I think bringing in new members is a positive thing, but if not it will be upsetting.


Im so so sorry to the board that it turned this way, i hate that there is negativity about something i wanted to be positive fun. I apologize for this. i didnt want it to go this way, hell i didnt even want to type that post but i felt i had to so the others know i did what i could to keep it fair.

You should not be the one apologizing. Lets just hope that this is a misunderstanding and we have a new Becker fanatic among us.

flipper98 and mark169 have the same ip and hostnames, and further digging would show the same address and computer asan easy guess. that's a strict BF violation. will check with Supers to be sure, but that's going to produce infractions.

up north eh? right.
