Very good looking covers. Love the long pull. And in a steel that I've always been fond of.

Except I didn't know worms had bones!
 
Have you permanently changed steel? If so, just curious as to why.

In his other thread he stated he can't get ats34 anymore. So he is playing with other steels. Fwiw, 154CM and ats34 are nearly identical.

And over thirty years of making knives, I've used a lot different steel.
So I do know what I'm doing when it comes to heat treating it......:)
Makers that continue using ATS34 have a stock pile, when that's gone, they will not get any more. :grumpy:

Todd, I have no doubt in your knowledge of steel and heat treat. I trust ya hehe. Was just tossing that out for other folks leery of change is all.
