It's the worms that create the flame in box elder but I have filled the holes. I believe it adds some character to the handle
52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles for a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind
Professionally stabilized box elder handle
Overall length: 8 1/2 inches
Blade: 4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
