Worst cut you have ever sustained from a blade?

Left interior wrist--2 1/2" long, very deep, to the bones. 20 plus stitches. Six weeks stationary cast to heal. The only explanation I wish to give is that you shoulda seen the other guy.

I still can't believe Clay stuck his leg out to cushion the fall of his blade....hahaha

I was about 14, and loved sharpening my old Western hunting knife. One of the ways I used to test it was to slice the corners off of 3x5 index cards. Well, I got a little too overzealous with the cutting and got careless and the next thing I know, I sink the razor sharp blade into my left index finger ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE BONE! Still have the scar and it is still very visible.

I was cutting cardboard at work with one of those plastic utility knives. The knife slipped off the cardboard, onto the drywall square(used for making custom boxes) and then through my left thumb. The cut went through the side of my thumb and through the nail from the base to the top. I thought the tip of my thumb was gone at first, then I opened my grip on my thumb and took a look at the damage. The pain came, but there was a lot more pain after the local anesthetic wore off! Six stitches, two through the nail.

Then there's the cut to my pinkie that cut the tendon. But we went over that one already, right Tuff! :-)
