Worst knife you've ever purchased...

Microtech Troodon. This was the perfect knife for me. It had everything I wanted in a pocket friendly knife. Brand new out of the box and just 12 opening/closings later it broke. Sent it back and since then my love for pocket cutlery has been on the decline.:(

I was in a knife shop and the guy working the counter came over to show me some microtech OTF auto's because I said I'd never handled a microtech. He fired the blade maybe 10 times in 2 minutes while talking to me and it wouldn't fire after that. He didn't look too surprised, just embarrassed. Not a knock on microtech, most of their knife designs look good and their fit and finish looks great. Just thought it was funny that the first time I see a Microtech auto, it breaks.

Opinel...didn't buy it, was given to me by my boat store; making a long story short, the intended use was to clean fish, but never got that far due to swelling of handle rendering the knife unusable in a closed position. I managed to pull the blade open, but not without the lock ring popping off.

This knife was given to me by did not purchase it. Don't remember the brand just a very cheap very small pocket knife with basically no blade to speak of. First time I tried to use it to see if it would cut it actually broke the blade and almost fell off the scale.

A SOG Twitch 2.
What a flying sack of crap. I have never seen so much bladeplay before on any knife, ever.

Benchmade Pika with thumb stud. What a p.o.s.! Hardest knife to open one handed. Another one of my many give a ways.
