Recommendation? Worth upgrading S30V Military to CTS 204P version?

I think the the niobium carbides in s110v are even smaller than vanadium carbides, and tend to push ahead of the vanadium or chromium to form the carbides. I might be full of merde but the extra moly and cobalt in s110v should make it a little bit tougher.? But without doubt 204p is easier to maintain a nice looking and sharp edge, and is way less chippy than older spydies in s30v. Never had s110v or s90, or 204p chip though, but 204p is according to the vast majority of people the toughest of the 4 by a wide margin.

So, I have to take exception with you Wolverine666 Wolverine666 and your strong recommendations, in multiple threads, for both the KW millie exclusives. Because of your constant praise over these two models, I now own them both. Damn you Wolverine and your persuasive ways!

The two surrounding g10 scales echo the sound and thats why it thwacks. Hard to describe but it is different from the lock up sound of the RIL military. Yes - I like the thwack sound.:D

Interesting. I like the Ti frame lock Militaries very much. But sound-wise , the liner locks have them beat. In my opinion anyway. Of course , I can only testify to the divine sounds of the 204P model.

My S90V/CF/Ti Militaries are sweet. But my 204P/dark green G10's reign supreme in my house.

If you open a framelock millie w your left hand and your hand is cupped loosely around the knife it makes an even better thwack

I feel that S110V is just to much of a good thing? My 2 cents

This is sort of like the small sebenza 21 where if you have one finger resting lightly on the lockbar when you open the knife instead of the usual thwack it will produce a musical birdlike “chirp”.

That is hands down my favourite knife noise.

Beautiful millies guys! Wish they came tip up.
