Has anyone seen this? It came out a while ago and I know any kind of electric implement is blasphemous in a knife community, however my dad bought one of these and swears by it. I used to have the patience to use a bench and ceramic and I always achieved not the best results for the amount of time I put in. I know something like this isn't "rewarding" but truthfully I just want a sharp knife quickly without eating the edge like a cheap pull-through. What do ya'll think?

It's been posted before, I think the only real complaint was that it can easily round the tip of a knife.

I think its a decent sharpner. Some days I cant sharpen very well and I use the work sharp to make up for my lack of skills.

I know some people swear by it as a consistent method for quickly grinding a sturdy but useful convex edge.

So the consensus I'm getting is that it's a pretty neat gadget. Seemed too good to be true but I'm going to give it a shot.

Yup, there's a lot of reviews and talk of them around here. It works pretty good, certainly the best of the small electric sharpeners by a mile.
