Would 30 minutes at 230F in the oven hurt my temper?

I need to put an already heat treated 1084 blade in the oven for that time/temperature. Will it mess the temper?
As you can see, heat treating is not my forte. :(

Thanks

Nah you are fine Patrice. As long as there is no handle. ;)

What is the reasoning behind the 230F, if you do not mind me asking?

No it will not.

Thanks Carl and Raymond.
I am working on a silver insert/inlay and I need to cast a silver piece as close to the cutout as possible. I tried a bunch of things that did not work. The last one is a clay that you bake but I need it to harden before I take it out of the blade. When I find the right process, I'll include it in a small tutorial about the whole inlaying process.

Thanks again guys.

He's baking a low temp version of the "Sword in the Stone" cake for his grandkid's King Arthur themed birthday?

I don't think 230F will even color the blade, much less ruin the temper. Go for it. Just be sure the blade is clean, or it could get pretty stinky.
