I was looking through my new Enco catalog today, and came across this:
Chemical Etching Pen
-Use on heavy metals, stainless steel, iron, copper, brass, nickel, tin and lead.
-Special acid solution flows like ink in a felt-tip pen
-No electrical flux necessary
-Leaves distinctive, smudge-proof black markings
Model# TL308-0495
I wonder if this would work as well as an electric etcher for marking logos. I understand it won't be a deep etch, but I think if used in conjunction with a stencil, that it would serve to put a nice black mark/logo on steel.
Any makers have experience with these?
