sanrenmu knives are not knock offs , they did well to make cheap knives .

i had some sanrenmus , they are good functional EDC tool , low price make every one can buy it .

the quality is not bad and i also got some breakages , the 8CR13 not tough , but makeing small folder blade is not a bad choice.
S30V and s35vn BOTH ARE NOT tough , and there is single reason you get a breakage of sanrenmu blade , you should know it , that is the sanrenmu is very cheap , you do it Without hesitation.

You don't like the word knock off ? How about "look a like", "heavily influenced", "copied" etc. etc. are those words better for your ears ? I see the lack of originality you are trying to say doesn't exist every day. For anyone that has spent any time living in Asia it's actually impossible to miss.
There is nothing to defend here, SRM are just one of many companies pumping out rubbish knives with rubbish materials. Deal with that as best you can, but don't come here trying to claim they are anything other than they are.....that being utter trash.

A few issues with your question, first is your initial posting of a knock off in the manufactures sub forum very bad form. Second is there are absolutely no controls what so ever as to how it was broken and at what force and can the test be replicated. Third, who would stick a Sebbie into a piece of wood and apply lateral torque on the handle to see if the blade breaks.
