I was wondering if anyone would be interested in building a unique knife blade. I have this design but don't have the tools or skill to make it myself (or the ability to properly heat treat it). So, this knife will be 6" overall with a 2 3/4" blade with a fairly simple handle and a drop point style blade . Sounds simple right? But here's the catch, it has a duplex grind! I'm referring to the style where the blade is "heavy duty" towards the handle and then sports a slicing or puncturing tip such as the Bob Loveless Pro Hunter featuring a nice duplex grind. So, like I stated before, would anyone want to build this? If anyone is interested email or PM me and I will get the drawing to you. I will send it out for heat treatment unless you can/want to do it and I can also provide steel if needed. Basically what I need is a quote for the making of the blade and for heat treatment if the maker can/wants to do it. Thanks.
