Would Be Nice If the Website Worked

Man a lot of people sure want those TI pivot screws lol. Site is slowing down now so if you didnt get in yet maybe try now. Just got 2 3" bronze and 2 3.5" bronze ;)
 
I also received the email, and freaked out as I'm at work and couldn't get into the site until.....I ordered:)
 
Guys. I'm gonna make this as simple and direct as I can. First off if I really saw this as a Big issue -vs- just a heads-up, I would have simply closed the thread.
For anyone who owns a business you know Capacity is expensive whether that is in the form of employees or website /connection speeds and bandwith.
You pay for as much as you need for the majority of the time and the times when demand spikes - you do the best you can.
That is undoubtedly what the ranch does.
When those few times occur when we can not get what we want (I understand the frustration) "IF" you feel the need, Send a private note to Rob.
Praise in Public. Anything else - Private. That advise works for Company Commanders, Dad's, Husbands, anybody.
As for here, on my watch I will always be protective of you guys, the ranch guys - Everybody!
It's all good. Hope Everybody gets what they want - when they want it and everybody stays happy.
I don't miss much so I can assure you, I saw no ill will here. Like I said, if I had it would have been closed.

I think everyone agrees that it would be nice if the site had 100% up time, all the time, I imagine Rick and Rob feel as strongly about it as anyone. The point is, they are obviously aware, they have worked on implementing changes, increasing capacity and generally trying to get it to work. When they thought they had it solved, the next on-sale brought new problems.

If it was easy, how fun would that be? ;)
 
I am a little annoyed. I had E-mail notifications set up and never even got an E-mail about this, much less had time to get on the site and order anything. That IS sort of frustrating. Looks like maybe their site/server got bogged down and that might explain it. I am not bashing Hinderer.....they are probably as surprised as I am that a pivot screw would cause such a major buying frenzy.

I found out from a friend of mine who did get an E-mail and by the time I went to look, they only had 3" ones left. I could have bought 10 of those to sell to others, but didn't so that people who have been waiting for these for their own knives could buy them. The 3" ones sold out today too BTW. I suspect, just maybe, there are people who ordered "extra" ones of these.....

In any case, I am looking for one bronze, and one blue, and happy to pay $15 over what someone just paid today for "extra" ones so that I don't have to keep watching for these. I realize that by doing that, I am supporting the exact behavior I just complained about above....but my time is worth more than the extra $30.00 I am willing to spend on this. If you got extras look me up.
