Would cpm Rex 121 do well as a big blade

I want to make a heavy chopper and I was looking at the crucible when I learned about cpm Rex 121 and they made the stuff sound like magic. I want to make the toughest chopper I can, and I wanted to now if this is a good steel for the job and if not, or you know a steel better suited please tell me. And I'm looking for more expensive rare steels, I know 1075-95 or 5160 are great, I'm just looking into making a unique blade! :D

No it's not a good steel for a chopper.
