Purple??? Who said anything about a purple knife?? Oh, well. Let me apologize if I have mislabled you holdanedge. I just seemed to get the picture that you liked to stir the waters, and I guess I might have been quick to take the bait. Anyway, bigons. I hope you don't think I was trying to be mean, I was just trying to find out why it seemed like you were looking to get flamed. I guess you weren't, and I apologize if I have made you feel unwelcomed lately. I guess I was just on the rag:D

I think he was referring to a pink benchmade knife he obtained a wile ago...with polka dots on it and a green blade; am I correct?

sorry, i thought you had said that bm i had was purple. it was actually pink. it was really, upon closer inspection, worthless. someone just carefully painted it with opaqe nail polish. the blade probably was turned green with an aluminum dye. overall it wasn't too hot. i just got all excited when i got it. that excitement soon wained. luckily i unloaded it. and, no will'em it did not have polka dots. silly! as for the knife discussed in this thread i would not hesitate to buy one for $40. i never intended to drop $130 on it!
if it seems i find a problem with everything, i probably do. call me a pessimist. i am sorry if my personality sometimes upsets people. i do not do it intentionally. it is just the way i am.

thebadguy, why is that so funny? because i thought it was some rare custom peice and it turned out to be a peice alright. a peice of doodoo. well at least i was able to sell it. the thing is the job looked convincing, the scales showed through pretty good. ok, maybe he didn't exactly use nail polish but he certainly painted it. how do i know? when i took it apart i found the paint on the INSIDE of the knife! if a pro or benchmade themselves had done this job don't you think they would have painted the scales seperate from the bolsters? bassicly all he did was take the nice FORUM knife and ruin it! we all make mistakes, i wish everyone wouldn't rub them in each others faces.

No Problem, I didn't even know you were yelling at me :) I mean it's not like I am the one who sold you a Benchmade with nail polish and said its a custom job :D
