I have a little Boker Trance that I like to carry around.
I like the knife a lot, but I'm not a fan of Aus8 steel.

I have say up to about $200 if someone is willing to make me a replica with 154CM steel.

I'm not your guy, but just a thought- a maker could save lots of time by using the existing handle and just making you a new blade...

Thanks guys, you got me thinking. I'm still interested if anyone would like to take this on. Maybe I'll give it a shot myself. It should be a project I can tackle. If God forbid I mess it up, the knife is cheap enough to buy another. I love the blade design, but I'm not so fond of the handle. It's only a single side, so that should be easy enough to replicate. There is a pattern in the handle to make it grip better, but the pattern doesn'w work well. It becomes almost slippery. I should be able to fix that too.
