Would like a slim bladed, 3" blade, fixed. Ideas

I have two thick bladed, 3" blade, fixed blade knives. Really would like to have one, same length but thin bladed. Can't seem to find one.

Using the website's filters, KSF lists 128 knives with blades between 2"-3" and 0.1" or thinner steel. I really like the looks of the Arno Bernard Porcupine myself. Is there a particular price range, handle material, steel, or style that you're looking for?

There is a knifemaker who posts in our exchange that specializes in thin, hard blades, and he makes a beautiful knife.

Yes Arno Bernard have some that fit the.bill and have nice, natural handle materials.

Dalibor Seckar-(Daado) has some slim beauties occasionally in the knifemakers for sale sub forum. He does a 52100 roach belly type blade that is very handy and great prices.--KV

I think some of the GEC knives would fit that bill. Really, a lot of the bird and trout designs fit that desicription including the CRKT mossback B&T (slightly under 3").

What knives do you already have? Since you're in the traditional forum, first thing that came to mind were the little GEC fixed blades. As mentioned, many of the bird & trout knives will have a 1/8" or less thick blade.

Hess knives has some cool looking stuff too at good prices. The white tail and bird and trout should be close to what you're looking for in terms of blade length and thickness I think.

What I have already is a crkt hunt n fisch, and the schrade schf55. Both excellent for doing work but I have found for carry I want a slimmer blade. Many good ideas on this thread I'm looking in to. Thanks.
