Would like a slim bladed, 3" blade, fixed. Ideas

Take a look at the Dozier Personals at his website. The Canoe is probably the smallest, but highly functional. All are fitted with a kydex horizontal sheath that works really well for everyday carry. Take a look at White River knives. I have the back packer pro which would be a great regular carry knife. The steel may be a tad thick on it. Sharp Sharp Sharp out of the box and a wonderful wood box it came in....

Hess White Tail I love mine except my son borrowed it and hasn't brought it back. Here it is next to a 77 Washington Jack for size comparison. The blades are made by GEC.

I will add that I really like the clip sheaths from collector knife for a cost effective pocket clip sheath. It worked really well with the crkt mossback bird & trout and they should be sized well for most bird & trout designs. I've simply found the thinner knives pocket carry really well and then it's almost like having a fixed blade that carries nearly as well as a folder.

The classic mora line carry really well, IMO. I've sanded one down a bit so it's less round and worked in a few dimples too for grip. Super cheap and easy to form to your liking. I think I was looking at getting a paring knife and either making a sheath or having one made (because I'm only able to make crude masks and sheaths at this point) for a very slicey, thin blade knife for a good price while still getting decent stainless steel.

- if you're after a thin bladed 3" fixed, then what tasks are you wanting to do....? Only reason I ask is that some of these wonderful suggestions have differing grinds, and that in itself may be very important and pertinent to the task/s...

I EDC a small Puukko every day now. I bought a Puronvarsi 70mm blade, a stock sheath from the same site and made the handle to my liking. The sheath hangs off of my belt into my pocket so it doesn't swing around. I love Puukkos because they are slim, efficient slicers; you can customize them to have a handle for whatever you want too!! You can buy a blank blade from Lauri for ~$10-$15 and make a simple handle. The premade puukko sheaths are very inexpensive too. If you want any help or suggestions let me know!

GEC has a few small fixed blades too you could look into. They fit into the KSF Pocket Sheaths very well
