Would like an EDC stockman in 1095

If this posts twice I apologize, but when I first tried the system hung and when I refreshed, I didn't see my post so...

First of all, thank all of you for the many responses and valuable information. I have of course, taken Pjake up on his very kind offer. Also, I know myself well enough to know that I will eventually, as my finances allow, pick up a Case Sowbelly and an Abilene GEC, but that may take some time. The Schrade will give me something great to drop in my pocket and transition from a belt sheath to trad pocket knives. Thanks again.

There is the Case Stag Rancher CV Sowbelly that fits your requirements. I think they are available for around $90-$100 or so. The Case item # is 58137.

For what it is worth, Schrade made an open-stock knife which is identical to the 8OT except the handles are made to look like jigged bone instead of sawed-bone. It is called the 881. I think they look a little nicer, but they are both the same knife. And they also made a yellow one, the 881Y. If you like a more slender version, but the same length, the 861 and the 61OT would fit that bill. All good old Schrade 1095.

Great info and another I need to watch for.

I´ve carried a Case Medium Stockman as my only knife for about nine months. It´s just great to carry and you won´t regret buying one.

For sure you can look at the secondary market for a Schrade Old Timer...A pre 2004 U.S.A. made Schrade

You have a lot of options in that case :)

Fixed it for you:D

Just a quick post to let anyone following this know that Peter did send the Schrade 80T and it's great knife that will be spending the coming days in my pocket. I'd post a pic, but apparently I need to change my membership status. What a great bunch of people and generous too.

Glad to hear and that is a great pattern for sure! Also you can post pictures by using a third party site. I like to use Photobucket just because I have used them for years and years but there are many other sites out there.

Non-paying members can still post pics via a link from a photo-hosting site like Photobucket. Upload your pics to their site, then copy the URL for each individual pic, with the IMG tags attached. Photobucket makes this pre-formatted link available with the IMG tags already in it, just to the right of each pic when viewed there; just click on the URL in the dialog box labelled 'IMG' to copy it, and paste that link into your post here. Here's a pic of my 8OT; you can use the 'Reply With Quote' function to look at the coded URL for the pic in this post, to get an idea what the IMG URL looks like:
