The Camillus EDC isn't so good for flickability (at least mine isn't). gearGOON is right on the money with axis locks being one of the best for flicking open. But I like the index trigger/flipper method on the Kershaw Ken Onion Chive/Scallion/Boa for that or my CRKT M18. The Chive is probably a little smaller than you'd like to carry by itself--I carry it as a backup to the bigger blades. For the flipper, you might want to check out the CRKT M16 series which runs around $34 US
As for the Stiff K.I.S.S.--I'd prefer the Camillus Arclite any day. Nothing against the K.I.S.S., but I prefer the recurve blade of the Arclite compared to the tanto blade of any of the K.I.S.S. profiles. (If you do get a K.I.S.S. then I'd recommend either the wharncliffe or drop point as opposed to the tanto).
