Would someone do me a huge favor...

Thanks for all the help so far! I'm tipping, slowly, over the edge.

Turns out that Blade HQ (who I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to mention) has a payment plan option. They typically only do this for knives over 400 dollars but they said they could do the Inkosi for me. Four equal payments split up over four months. That just makes it too tempting...and doable.

Plaza Cutlery does lay away, that is how I bought my Inkosi. They are awesome to work with.

I caved in this weekend and ordered my Inkosi from KSF. They have a rewards program so I ended up redeming my rewards points and getting $35 of the price. Pretty good deal if you ask me. The knife should be here later this week.

Very awesome! I have to admit I'm a little jealous. That sounds way more immediately gratifying than doing a four month payment plan! I'd love to hear your thoughts when it comes in.

Congrats!

Thanks, I will be sure and share my opinion when it gets here.
I am pretty excited about it. Honestly I never thought that I would get excited over a knife that small. The more I read and think about it the more I think it will make a great companion to carry with my large micarta insingo. Even carry by itself for that matter. I can see it fitting into many roles for me.

Well...turns out I owe the IRS 1,240 dollars so I don't have an Inkosi in my near future.

Thanks again everyone for your help! Hopefully sometime after April I'll be posting pictures (finally) of my first Chris Reeve knife!

Oooooh, I am so sorry VE!

But, when you do, seriously think about Plaza Cutlery, they do an awesome lay away & when they ship, it ships quick! They are in CA. I got mine paid off on a Fri., and if it wasn't for the Holiday on Mon. I would have had it on Mon.

I think they read minds, and ship the day before you pay.

I got my Inkosi today. It is small, but with the lanyard it helps to fill up your hand. The biggest thing I noticed was how unbelievably smooth the knife opens and closes. It is shaving sharp. I just got the knife but I am really pleased with it. I think this may be the first smaller knife I really enjoy. For a knife this small it feels like it can handle jobs I would normally grab my large Sebenza for (if that makes sense).

Kalsu, I know, it is amazing how smoooooooth it opens & closes. I am still very impressed with it. I am glad that you are happy with yours.
