I was grabbing a dos equis beer and read on the box, that with the impending retirement of this character, you could enter to win pieces from his collection. That got me thinking, would he have any knives in that collection?

Well, there were no knives in the collection, but there was a fork. Do you think he would carry a knife everyday? If so, what would it be?

I think he would, I think he would carry an Opinel #6 as his EDC and a Randall Made knife when a fixed blade, though in keeping with his character, he would probably have a Randall Made folder.

Obviously he wouldn't always carry a knife, but when he would, it would be the most interesting knife in the world!

I don't always talk about the most interesting man in the world but when I do I tell people he doesn't every day carry anything at all. He has his people to carry for him.

I guess a better way of phrasing the original post would be to finish the following quote...

"I don't always carry a knife, but when I do I carry its a..............."

They borrowed his EDC for the Book of Eli. It was a gift received from Liz Taylor, hand forged by the Dalai Lama and Mohammed Ali from the leaf springs of Elvis's pink Cadillac in a chance collaborative effort.

Hey, I carry an Opinel #6! I don't know what knife the most interesting man in the world would carry, but that old guy probably carries prostate meds.

"It was announced that Dos Equis would replace Goldsmith in the "Most Interesting Man" promotional announcements following the first failure of his life when he could not secure the return of his Microtech knife after sending it for warranty repair in 2014..."
