Would there be any interest if I listed this Busse for sale on the Exchange?

I believe she’s an early Steelheart, A2 (or D2?) steel, IIRC. I'm sure it wasn't INFI.

I bought her sometime in the ’90’s, from an ad I saw in a gun or knife magazine. There was no picture in the ad, just a drawing of the outline of the knife; but something about the shape caught my eye. IIRC, I paid a little less than $300; which was more than I’d ever paid for a knife before. But I quickly realized it was money well spent.

As you can see, she’s no safe queen: she’s gotten a lot of use over the years.

However: I find myself in great need of money, so I'm thinking about selling her.

Question: if I were to list this for sale on the Exchange:
1) would there be any interest in it?
2) what would a fair asking price be?

Any opinions would be appreciated.

And yes, I realize I'd need to become a member in order to list it.

The answer to your question would be a resounding YES
Thanks. Any idea what I should ask for it? Or to put it another way, what I could get for it?

I'm totally clueless...

But based on your answer, I'll go ahead and sign up for a membership so I can list it on the Exchange

Well, in line with you’re hope. It’s pure junk and no one would risk paying for an obviously broken, worn out knife.

so I’ll offer my services of properly disposing of it for you. Hell, I’ll even pay for shipping.

I’ve made this offer over the years, but folks always seem to want to keep them....go figure!

I have no idea but I would imagine you would get more than what you paid for it.

Man! That's what I like about knife people: always willing to help out a brother in need! I'm so choked up, I hardly know what to say...

I just got my Gold membership....

I don't want to break any rules, but if I'm understanding them correctly, now that I'm a Gold Member, I'm OK to sell stuff.

My problem with listing it on the Exchange is, I still have no idea what this knife is worth. I don't even know what a ballpark figure would be....

Is it acceptable for me to ask for offers here ?

If not, I'd appreciate some opinions as to what you'd list it for, if it were yours. Or what you'd feel comfortable paying for it.

I'm thinking there must be folks on here who have a prettty good idea of what it's worth. Certainly more of an idea than I do....

Thanks!

At the end of the day, as long as you’re happy and buyer are happy with the price it’s a good deal.

that being said, and let me preface by saying I’m not near up to speed these days as I was in the past but I’d start at north of 575 and adjust fire if no takers

Thanks! That makes sense: start high and work my way down....

Would also be considered a fishing expedition thread, which I believe isn't allowed even with a paid membership.
I believe the OP has his answer. Everybody go wait for it to drop in the Exchange now...lolz ;)
(Although OP should keep it... JMO :D)

If you really want a true value of a knife, put it on Ebay starting with a 99 cent auction, no reserve and what ever it sells for is what it is worth. That is how I do it.
