Just got a new manix, and really like the knife. It feels real good in your hand. On this manix, the locking bar is not flush with the liners. It sticks up some. The other manix I owned, was smooth as could be on top, where the locking bar meets the blade. Would spyderco fix this? The knife does not feel as good in your hand, with the locking bar sticking up.

Edited because the threads Ghostrider linked answer the question much better than I did.

Mine sticks up slightly where the lock bar meets the blade. May just try to file it down.

OR.......maybe you should just stick with customs. I'm not being a smart a$$, but for real. I have a many of spydercos, and benchmades and they all have flaws under a microscope. They are not custom, they are production. This means a great bang for your buck factor! I know at first a 100 dollar knife seems high, but if you really knew the costs and overhead to make that manix in your hand, you would see that a 100 bucks is cheap for the knife you get. I know your not bitchin about it, but just wondering. I'm not flaming you, just letting you know that ALL production knives have there own unique flaws. But really Spyderco and Benchmade have such a great QC they tend to be more under the gun on issues like yours. Your knife is fine! Now get out there and beat the hell out of it like it was ment to be.
