Would this be considered a makers mark?

I'm getting mine made by Pieh Tool Company

And this is what I'm having made, it's a mirror image of the symbol for PI

I bet that's going to look nice. Yeah, I just really like the look of stamped blades. did you use an arbor press, or a bigger shop press?
 
I used my 20 ton mini forging press. I love that press as it does a lot more then just forge my Damascus.
 
So guys this is my first attempt at a mark. Scribed it into nail polish and etched it with a battery charger and salt water. Going to visit the sign shop next week and see if I can get some vinyl cut like it.

Turned out all right, could have been better.
This was my first attempt at bringing out a hamon. Blade is 5160 quenched with just the edge up to temp. Only finished to 600g and etched with vinegar

I have an Evers stamp. They're easy to order from, the price wasn't bad (4years ago) and it's still in good condition. Just don't try to stamp anything that isn't either hot or annealed. A good way to wreck a stamp is on something hardened.
