Would This be Covered Under Warranty?

The spring that locks the blade on my Buck 750 Redpoint seems to be broken. I now have to push the switch up to lock it. If I were to send this in, would Buck take care of me or charge me? The handle is a little beat up, so I would not want to spend much on it when I can get a new one for $25.

For reference, the knife is shown below. The switch is white with a red arrow.

Thanks!

Yup I'd say the backspring is covered. If you want it cleaned up you prob have to pay tho.

As long as you havent damaged the knife by use in a way inconsistent with design such as prybar, hammer, paint stirrer Buck will cover it. They also, I believe they have the right to decline based on years of normal wear out but it is my idea that they will err on the side of the customer in almost all cases. Outstanding warranty and customer service-2nd to none.

i dont think buck would decline repair replacement
based on age and hard normal use!

I agree 100% Dave although I believe the warranty is written that way. I think if you had one with a 90 degree bend in it from prying with it and told them it was defective, they would repair rather than fight you on it, they are that good.
