Would you buy this for a dollar?

Like Spooky said above, I'd love to use it as a dry spot in wet weather. Finding a dry area to take a break can often be tricky in the woods.

I'd probably use it in the car. If I had to fix a flat or check under the car, that sheet might be a good idea.

Thats a sweet find. I would have snatched it for a dollar as well.

You could also sell it for the going rate on one for one of those and use the money to buy a more "normal" tarp and a knife!

Like other posters, do you really not know the answer to that? :D

Great find J!

If you see another few, keep me in mind too!

Well done - that would be an excellent addition to the kit, especially with the high rating on the reflectivity/visibility of the orange and it's properties. Great addition for the emergency kit.

Looks like something I would buy more than one of! Nice buy, wanna go get some more :D

Ok Jake, I am moving to Missouri ! Or getting those folks with the stores you shop in to move down here! I can't find crap in the thrift stores and junks shops down here. Those killer deals you keep finding would allow me to spend more on steel and ammo!

You should Steve. I would then have someone to hang with!

This is the best thing Ive found at a junk store since my recurve.

I would , but we made the mistake of moving from the boonies here to St.Louis for a few months. I got a job with a private security co. and it turned out to be a bit less than they initially offered. I was the only guard in the 7 story underground parking garage that sits in the shadow of the arch. I was armed (38 revolver, that's all they allowed.) but the gangs that where raping and killing women and stealing cars had Mac-10's and UZI's. Did I mention this was for a couple of bucks over min. wage? Or that it was 3rd shift?

But seriously I'm sure there are some nice small towns we drove through a bunch on side trips we'd take. We went to a beautiful state park, can't remember the name, but they talked about having 3 distinct "climate area's" in that one park. You have any idea what I'm talking about? I don't know if I do :)

You live in South East Missouri? If so you're not that far from us. We're about an hour and a half from Memphis. If that's anywhere in your driving range we'll have to meet somewhere and do some woods bumming sometime.

I live right smack in the middle of the state. Lots and lots of state parks come to mind......

Still would be cool to set up a southern/midwest gathering sometime.

Thats a bad place to work, glad your better judgement prevailed!

Yep. we should try a get together this spring maybe. Before it gets too hot to be comfy around the fire.

When I gave my notice on that job they offered me the position to run security at the airport, for a whole $11 an hour. I didn't even work my notice.
