This is true. At least IMHO.
 
I would likely use mine. My collection/accumulation is designed for using. At $100, I would also do the same as others, buy more than one and keep the other(s) probably as safe queens for possible resale, if I was collecting fo that purpose and use one. Also like others, I would probably hand down the used one - IMHO, it would hold the best memories for the kids.
