Would you defend yourself with a Kershaw Military Boot Knife?

Think some laws are screwy? In Canada, if you decide to carry a knife for self defense, and step out into the streets.....a crime has already been commited.

We can't carry a knife with the intent to use as a means of self defense!!

I carry all my knives for cutting boxes :)

Very True Gollnick, but that's why I stick with what departments around here issue, rather than the nastiest meanest sounding and performing hollowpoints I can find. Gives my lawyer, if I ever have to defend myself, some room to help paint me as an honest person merely defending myself(which is the truth), rather than some crazy gun nut that prosecutor would paint picture as. LRN or FMJ would be even better, but I have to weigh trade off in stopping power. So I don't go for nastiest HPs, I cgo for ones I can point to other PDs around here and say it's what they issue. As in anything, it's a compromise. OK law says I can use a belt fed for home defense, I'm not going to try it though even if I can afford one, as I don't wanna be in court with that.

I own a Benchmade Advanced Folding Combat Knife and an Emerson Specwar knife. These are the names that I tell everyone. If those with "Holier than thou" attitudes don't like it, then they can kiss my @#%&. :p
