Would you look at this crap!

What are the chances the rip-off artist will read this thread? If anyone thinks it'd be better not to tell how they got it wrong, please let me know and I'll remove this:

Jimping is funny, blade shape funny, wave shape and thumbhole shape off, thumbhole indented around perimeter of hole, serial number oriented funny, double-ground, edge jagged, pivot screw is wrong, torx screws wrong, pocket clip's 3-hole pattern looks funny, pocket clip looks funny, holes in "G10" are chamfered, ricasso shape off, backside of pivot domed, can't see backspacer but it's likely off.

I'm still amazed but happy that the knockoffs haven't switched to phillips head fasteners, that at least makes it pretty easy to immediately identify them.
 
luckily for us ladies and gentleman, we can tell the difference between fake and real... at least this seller listed the steel used and origin. we know it's not that crap steel and it's USA MADE! I own a cqc-11 and my god is it a beaut! it'd be ironic if this seller "accidently" fell on an emerson.

I wouldn't be surprised if the rip off was better made.
 
Thats scary. Looks pretty real to me. If i was in the market for one and didnt notice the made in China I probably would have bought. I see the importance now of buying from reputable sources. Buyers beware.
