I used to work with Bigfoot and even though I wanted to shoot him a couple of times, for the most part, he's a pretty nice guy. But, Don't get me started on Littlefoot. He's a D**K.

I laughed my a** off just reading your thread title...A Bear hunter accidently shooting Bigfoot,,I wonder how much the fine would be...

I believe that like lawyers and politicians , Sasquatch is another subspecies of human .
I wouldnt shoot him with anything but a camera

I think it would be best to shoot bigfoot with a tranquilizer dart gun. That way it/he would not be hurt and you would definately finally have proof!
That way you could always release him/it back into the wild to run free.
Do i win? :D

of course I would put him down, otherwise appear to be out of my mind and considered the old wacko that seen bigfoot.. like the rest of those who have... at least THIS time there would be a body to actually prove it, I'd make sure of it.........

Yes I believe you do :)

I call Ohio D.N.R. today to ask about hunting feral hogs. I had been watching finding bigfoot last night and they were at Salt Fork state park here in Ohio . And since I had them on the phone I had to ask? What is the state's veiw on Bigfoot and would it be legal to shoot ? The lady left for a minute , when she came back She said the law enforcement div. Said if the are here they do not consider them native game . If it was destroying crops or you felt threatened you would not get in trouble for killing one . Hey sometimes you just have to ask stupid questions:D

Sasquatch in the state of Texas are not listed as game animals. They are also not enumerated as protected non-game animals, threatened or endangered species. As such, they are legal to harvest in Texas. Shoot bigfoot?/

From www.texasbigfoot.com... "Our primary mission is to conserve these animals. They cannot be conserved until they are accepted as fact. They will not be accepted as fact until a type specimen is produced. It's as simple as that."

Yeah, I'd shoot bigfoot. And, I'm not sure that shooting some yahoo in a monkey suit would not be doing the world a favor... If you're bigfoot hoaxing in Texas, wear a bullet proof vest.

Interesting topic. Since the Pa Game Commis. doesn't recognize Bigfoot as a harvestable animal, I would concur with several other posters that one would probably end up in jail or in some sort of trouble.

Would that stop me?

No - .308 comin at ya yetti, I'll let the proceeds from the instant fame pay my bail and fines.... : )

I'd probably jerk most of him, but I would provide enough genetic evidence to the media for a positive ID. And of couse, I'd tan his hide for a bigfoot skin rug. I'm pretty sure with the money I'd make off the positive ID, my wife wouldn't mind getttin' frisky on a bigfoot skinned rug...
