Tools from HF? (not that I plan on this route!)

If you would, which tools would you take from their store?

I ask because I was wandering around the local store the other day and it made me laugh to wonder what ya'll could come up with using only their stock. Call it a post apocalyptic world where every other retailer burned to the ground... Or something like that.

And yes, I know I'm weird.

Well the first 100 or so knives were made with files, hacksaw, and lots of sandpaper. For heat treating I had and old riveters forge - so I reckon I could get by with those items again whether form HF or wherever - power tools are nice time savers but aren't necessary so in case of the apocalypse that's all I'd need...

I bought most of the parts that I used to build my grinder at the Canadian version of HF - Princess Auto. What I didn't buy there, I built out of plywood and angle iron.

I would buy whatever tools needed to make better tools, for example, a mill and lathe...... = a way to make awesome knife making tools

Haha I looked at those very items while building my fantasy HF shop.

Good stuff guys. I guess one could make awesome knifemaking tools with HF stuff, that's true.
