Yes, as surely as the Aussie Gestapo shot the real Crocodile Dundee, the day is coming. There's an old saying, "It's better to be tried by 12 than carried by six." I am more of a gun guy than a knife guy, but the Second Amendment reminds us of our God-given right to keep and bear any and all arms. Without stout men, with good steel and dry powder to back it up, it's just paper.
Guns are the big target, then knives, and as the crime rate continues to rise, the rest of your rights go quickly.
Anyone with the good sense to be prepared for trouble on a trip across the country has violated some knife/gun law or another. Don't feel guilty about it, just weigh the consequences.
"Concealed" means exactly that.

"There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government
has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't
enough criminals, one *makes* them. One declares so many things to be
a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking
laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in
that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be
observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted--and you create a
nation of law-breakers--and then you cash in on the guilt."
