Would you welcome a bigger boys knife?

The #15 boys knife from GEC seem to have been very well received by this community.

How would you feel about a slightly bigger boys knife? Somewhere between the current 3,5" and 4" with the same handle shape and blade options?

I'm not telling you to toss out your #15, just if you'd like it to have a big brother.

I think the 15s are perfection. But if you'd like a slightly bigger one, the Case 31 pattern fits the bill.

Hmm... I do love my spearpoint 15. I suppose I'd like a slightly larger model, as long as it retained the same thinness.

If they made my eo scout in a larger (or smaller) version with ebony I would just be forced to buy.

I would absolutely like to see a larger model of the #15. Nothing at all wrong with the #15 but I do tend to like a larger jack.

If its more than 3 1/2 inches it won't be a boys knife, its then a regular jack. The boys knife is a standard pattern, usually a regular or curved jack thats 3 1/2 inches or smaller.

Not really. GEC already offers an excellent 3 3/4" knife, the #73 Scout.

While I am chomping at the bit for a daddy barlow or grandaddy barlow in the #15 Charlow pattern (spear point and clip, with less belly on the clip point), I am not sure about a larger boys knife.

Not a bad idea to make a larger knife similar to the boys knife.
Take the 79 pattern (3 3/4"), the Workhorse, eliminate the sheepfoot blade, replace it with whatever blade you like, eliminate the spear at the large end.

in a word .yes.
i think it would be as popular as a cold beer at a bushfire.

I'd be all over a 3 7/8 - 4.00" #15. It would resemble one of those Schatt & Morgan Heritage knives.

I'd love to see a barehead jack on the #79 pattern. I prefer handles that swell toward the butt.
