Crafft, I really love that spruce & tan MOASH! Now lemme tell you how lucky you are to have it... I had just started buying Busse's when I saw that listing for THIS knife. I was first to it, but hesitated on the price as I was a newbie, and at the time the price to me was a lot. Had this taken place ANYTIME about 2 weeks after it did, I'd be the one posting pix of that SWEET knife!!!! My biggest regret so far for knives I missed, as I love the color of the grips and how well it goes with the double cut finish of the steel.

My best guess would be that they are variation of the snakeskin micarta for the handles and wormed tan canvas micarta for the bolsters. the bolsters have that wormy look and it's 'grooooooovy', LOL actual grooves cut (mitered?) in for that look, and also it's a little thicker than the handle's thickness to keep your hand from sliding up onto the blade
rbmcmjr, I'm told that it is from BLADE2005.

This one was my first as a total newbie
. I was lurking the Busse section for some time after JurT posted some nice SFNO pics on a Belgian forum. I was trying to score an SFNO. But when I found out it was almost impossible to get one I decided to go for the first serious stuff that showed up at the for sale section. It happened to be this beautiful MOASH. Guess I was lucky you were a newbie as well and hesitated. Too bad I didn't score 27 of them so I could give you one
Now if you can get me a satin finished SFNO with mags we can talk

Yes, only the original satin SFNO with mags and logo (see also the BF trading section). Mission Impossible I guess, maybe Tom Cruise has one

Nothing fancy, just replacing a split handle rivet. I'm glad the knife made it to the shop before the blizzard!

Erik, it's hard to find a satin/mag SFNO with logo. Most SFNO's are sterile. I thought only (as far as I know) Galaxytech had a logo on his satin/mag, but he gave it a bead blast and I'm not sure if the logo is still on it.
