Attention WOW.....BLADE FORUMS Is about to be TWENTY!!!!!

Hey Xr6X, Tanker and eveled.....

Yes, Just think in just one more year Bladeforums will be legally able to drink! .... And yes, it is a bit of a reunion with every log in.... Eveled, it would be great to have a sit down over a cuppa coffee or a brewski.... It has been interesting to me that virtually(pun intended)everyone I have met here, online, has turned out to be fair dinkum people in person.....

The human dimension of Spark’s creation is the one I treasure most.... His gift has enabled me to have a grand time in a lot of places and to meet some truly high quality folks..... e

Well said Ethan.
While I never thought I’d be a member of an online knife community, I’ve come to love Sparks creation here and am glad to support it.
I’m especially grateful for the BK&T subforum here Ethan. I’m glad to have met you at a few of the BeckerWest gatherings and I’ve met some true friends there that are second to none.

Considering all of the groups, forums and what not on the internet - one would be hard pressed to find a better group of folks than right here at BF, and especially at the Becker sub-forum. The generosity, both material and of knowledge cannot be rivaled; the common bond is knives on the surface - but there really is a special sort at this corner of the world wide web.

Just about everything I know about knives, though paling by comparison to many here, I learned from BF and every friend I have made here is a good friend.

Good folks, good times, good content. Thank you Spark, E. and Blade forums!

Congratulations Bladeforums and thanks Sparks for keeping it up and running. Thanks to all of you for the good company over the years and the great info. The stuff I've learned here really is unimaginable. Lots of small everyday stuff that grows into a habit but certainly got its roots on this forum.
I love how the forum thought me how to discriminate decent from less decent tools and how to appreciate every tool in its own right but especially how to properly use and maintain your tools so they'll last you a few lifetimes...

I actually bought a couple of knives from 1SKS back in the early 'noughts -- several years before finding BF.
I've met a lot of good folks through this forum, and the knowledge base is impressive as well - which is part of why I've been a gold member for pretty much all but the first month or so I've been here.

I'll say it again, since it's official today...Happy 20th Birthday BladeForums!

This place has been a wealth of knowledge to me. I Googled "survival knives", and the Becker BK2 kept popping up, and led me to
here. I'm mostly here on the Becker forum, but appreciate very much the offerings on the other forums. Lots of good people here.

Here's to you BladeForums, may you last for many years to come.

UPDATE: PM from Spark. Anniversary is Oct. 2nd, not Sept. 2nd. He was mistaken.

Well we may be a month early but sentiment is still the same ... a huge thank you to Spark for getting this idea in motion ...

and to Spark and all of the Moderators that put in their time and effort to keep this forum what it is ... an extended family and friends that can share a common love of all things ... especially knives and the things that go along with that.

And to the makers and subforum owners that give us such great products and take the time to interact with everyone ... it wouldn't be nearly what it is without all of these people.

So a month long celebration seems fitting anyway.
