Just wanted to let everyone know to watch out for WOW Inc. I placed an order almost a month ago, and haven't even received a confirmation from them that my order was received. My Paypal account was sure billed on time, though. It's my understanding that Mike Turber doesn't have much to do with this site anymore, and that's apparently the reason for the problems.I've seen in another thread that mike has gone out of his way to take care of customers. I just wish the new site operators understood customer service the same way. Come back Mike!

WOW has always had terrible customer service, at least they have for me & from what I've read of others' complaints. Eventually they will make it right. Then you never order from them again, and later you read someone else posting about their WOW woes.

As far as I know Mike is still the president of WOW, Inc. He seems to be doing so many other things right now that maybe he isn't spending enough time taking care of business at WOW. As he has stated on these forums previously, knives are making up less and less of his business interests. That could be why these kinds of things are happening.

WOW is one of those places I would steer clear of. Just reading here how people seem to be left hanging (except for credit cards being billed) makes you wonder.

I have read how Mike goes out of his way to take care of customers, but when you do it only because the customer yells loud enough, well whoopie. If he is not willing to put the effort into taking care of what people pay for, then he needs to stop selling stuff and making excuses.

i'm new here, yesterday i tried to buy knives from WOW, but no way. no answers, nor Paypal account working (when you hit checkout on cart, it says that "user cant receive funds"..
anyway ,i spent the money on a beautyful fixed custom from Al Alexander. The deal got right in a few hours, fast comunications and kind answers.
WOW lost a customer and AA Blades found a new one :)

my best regards

I ordered from Wow once and after a month or so had not received the product. I gave them a call and they issued a refund right away. Bottom line is I won't shop there again, but they will make it right if you give them a call.

Same exact experience here. When the Tachyons first came out they were the main supplier. I ordered one, they charged my card the next day, and I waited over three months. I tried contacting them several times to find out the status, with no reply ever. No one ever even answered the phone. Finally I was ready to contact the credit card company to reverse the charges, and the knife showed up a few days later. I will NEVER deal with these guys again, and I strongly suggest that anyone thinking about ordering a knife from them does not.

Just to let everyone on this thread know, I just received an email from Mike Turber apologizing for my problems. It seems he's been out of the country for a while, and the individual he left in charge of things pretty much gave him the shaft. Mike has offered to fill the part of my order that is currently in stock, and refund my money for the part that isn't. I couldn't ask for anything more. Anyway, the problem was solved as soon as Mike found out about it. I still say he's one of the good guys, and I don't intend to hold this against him personally, or against any other internet business he may be associated with.

Sorry about al the problems guys. I have changed the web site to update the new products and right now the emails sent to info@wowinc.com and sales@wowinc.com actually went nowhere. I have no clue why but I am looking into it.

Use the met@wowinc.com which is also my profile email here and that will get to me. Rest assured any f'ups will be fixed.

WOW is in a conversion state as you can tell by the new web site. All of the scooter products are now part of my 2 Guys Selling venture which is 100% west coast based and has no customer service issues. The Knives however are another story and has been such a thorn in my side that I am ditching them and moving on. The remaining stock was left with a business partner in Jax who is having his own problems and basically was to handle all these issues while I concentrated on the scooters and motorcycles. That did not work so I am shutting it down until it can be ran right.

It may take time to figure things out on occasion but it will be made right. My moto may need to be change to "Do It, Do It RIght, Do It Right when I can" :)

so, i can order the knives or not ? ...well ,maybe better wait a couple of weeks and let Mike keeps things working.
thanks Mike for answering, regards

Every thing should be back up and running. Email is still an issue so only use the met@wowinc.com address for now. Pay Pal is working again and the JAX location is palletizing our remaining stock and shipping it here. That will creat a delay on some of the products. I am removing all knives from the site accept the Lile's. No one should have had any problems with any Lile shipments as they all come out of my California office.

As of this moment the BOSS project is dead and remain stick will be offered on Ebay soon.

Again I apologize and appreciate the understanding. A few of you reported to Pay Pal your concerns and have already been refunded. On top of that a couple received both knives and a refund so you two are ahead :)

Take Care guys, I will still be around and hope to contribute to BFC in a more positive way. I feel like I let you down and for that I am sorry.

Mike,
My problems happened with you nearly two YEARS ago. The same exact problems are still happening, and you're acting like it's something new and out of your control. PLEASE. I could tell that you were a slick guy right off the bat, and here we are two years later with you backing up my initial impressions.

Have all the designers of the knives sold by WOW been paid as promised?
I seem to remember that Boss did not actually mark the knives as their product, but used another bottom-feeder's mark on the products.
Was this to avoid paying designers?
Just asking.
Dirk
