I am a huge fan of Greco knives and have purchased or traded several in recent months. Recently I traded a friend for his Greco Folder. My friend had installed a pocker clip that was poorly done. Not only were the holes poorly drilled, but the black coating had come off where it had gotten too hot. I called Mr. John Greco and spoke to him about the problem. I asked him if he could sell me another handle side or a mircarta kit to cover the ugly holes.
We must have talked on the phone for at least half an hour. This guy is incredible!! He told me to send him the knife and he would see what he could do. Not even a week had passed and I got a package in the mail. The package included a knife with the following note:
"Since it's packing time for the Blade Show and don't want to keep you waiting on the knife, the magic wand waved you a new one...
Enjoy-John"
I was stunned. The knife was not damaged by use or a defect, it was altered on purpose and messed up... and John Greco sent me a brand new one. And get this...there was no charge for the knife, postage, or anything.
I encourage everyone to buy a knife from this wonderful man. Not only do you get a hell of a knife, you get the best customer service PERIOD!!! Mr. Greco, if you happen to read this...Thanks you, you have made me a customer for life.
