Wow. Stepped up yet another notch

That's what sold me. They all look so nice. Since I could not look at them in person and choose, I just asked for one with good figure, and this is what he sent.

Congrats on the purchase! As Dino said - it's a real stunner.

It's a little late now, and it appears to have worked out very well for you anyway, but before purchasing the Honduran Mnandi I requested photos of the ones they had available. The people were very accommodating and took....decent....photos, which took the uncertainty out of it. If the scenario comes about again, it's definitely the way to go. Either way, though, you've got one to be very happy with. Congrats again.

Thanks Don M and Desert Hermit! Your great looking Honduran Rosewood Sebenzas made me start looking for one. Didn't want to order one sight unseen from the retailer ... so the search went on. Finally found one with a grain that I liked and she arrived today .....

Beautiful inlay, great choice. I can only think that an annual with a single inlay would sell out in seconds. I'm waiting to see what they do with the 25's, how can they resist looking at this piece?

Too bad they stopped making them! We would all be lined up to order it!!

d.r.h., that one is stunning. I love the small burls in the grain. It almost has a spalted appearance.

Wow.... Up til now I wasn't a big fan of inlays on sebenzas.... Just gorgeous, and a very nice acquisition!

Thanks all .... I've been looking for one since August, when I saw Don M and Desert Hermit post pics of theirs. Then ... Bingo! Was in the right place at the right time when one popped up. Looked at the grain and was immediately mesmerized!

Hey, how did I miss this thread?

A few there I didn't know about, now I know why you were asking about Honduran Rosewood.

Thats just beautiful. I am going to have to stop looking at these CRK threads, my wallet cannot take it!
