Thirteen days between custom shop order confirmation and shipping product emails.

If you want a custom fast, now's apparently the time.

That's wild, I put an order in on 1/17 and got a ship notice today, 6.5 weeks. I think I will order another 110, thinking about the blue wood, BG-42, with silver bolsters. $88

Mine's pretty vanilla. BG-42, NS bolsters, no rivets, finger grooves, jigged water buffalo scales, no engraving.

Maybe that one's just easy.:D

Boats,
When it arrives it should look like this, minus the finger grooves and engraving.

I predict that you're gonna love it! :)

I just ordered another CS 110 myself....
ATS-34, nickle-silver bolsters, sambar stag scales, no rivets, no finger-grooves.
I reckon I'll see around mid March.

Allen ,

I just ordered a similar knife. NS, Sambar Stag, No Finger Grooves, no rivets on stag for me, just on wood. Pretty excited.

2TONYB, which wood is that on your 110? I just ordered a BG-42, Nickel bolsters with OAK, thanks

muddog, it's Koa Flamewood. I decided on Koa after some of the past reviews on this forum.

I've mentioned it in another thread but the Custom shop is changing. There is still some discussion as to who will end up with the responsibility of making them here at Buck but during the interim, they will be made in my shop. :D

Personally, I have never been a big fan of the 4 week lead time so baring parts outages, I am shooting for something a lot closer to half that.
I have my rework man, Danny P. doing most of them and he brings over 30 years experience to the table. That and a keen eye for quality.

It finally arrived!!!:) Click'em

That's pretty neat. I had occasion to try my guthook a few weeks back; it failed miserably. Could you do this for me? Go out to your truck and see how long it takes to cut through a seatbelt with the serrations...

Maybe I'll order one...

Ha! I knew that you were going to go for it, Boats.
Be warned though. The addictive properties of CS 110s' make crack look like soda pop. ;)

@ 2TONYB - Beautiful knife there my friend! Good choice.

Well I didn't want to tear up my new truck so I found the next best thing to simulate a seat belt. A tree stand safety belt! I put my new custom up against my new BP110. I had to employ my son and daughter to get er done. Fortunately my wife was asleep; she thinks I'm crazy enough with knives. Let alone slicing up a perfectly good safety belt.

The BP110 sliced like a champ. Easily got through the belt in one slick move. Trax wanted me to use the serrated area of the blade on my new custom. So thats what I did. The serration bit in and didn't let go until it cut free. My son wanted to try out his "stock" 110 that I got him for Christmas. Again, no problem. Conclusion: these knives needed a bigger challenge...and I need a new safety belt. By the way Trax, I would go ahead and order one.
Edit: The photographs make the knife appear closer to the human than it actually was!

bucksway Joe,are one of the changes being considered a CS 112 ? *******

All I can say is that as long as I am in control of making them, they will be on time, (baring parts outages that I am taking care of right now).
One we get all that in order we will look for other oportunities and
hopefully that means adding more models and I am sure the 112 will be considered as a possible add.
