Dear Mr Wilson

Thank you for your mail dated 16th October 2007 and being interested in our products. Every note is valuable for us and is being checked, because through this we are able to optimize the quality and satisfy the customer's needs.

We are very sorry that you have problems with our SwissTool. Of course it is not normal that the pliers are wiggly and the Phillips screwdriver has some dents in it from ordinary screwing in a screw. In order that the pliers work properly there must be a very small gap between the two pliers half. Nevertheless, if you have perceptible problems with the functionality, please don't hesitate and get in contact with our customer-service.

The «SportRatchet Tool» was produced by our US representative in the year 2000. Victorinox only shipped some individual tools for assembling. The production stopped one year later because it was not successful on the market. We are happy to tell you that we could organize a replacement. Please let us know your home address and we will be glad to send you the new tool to your attention. We are very sorry for the troubles you had in this matter.

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Yours sincerely

VICTORINOX

What do you guys think of that?! I can't even begin to tell you how pleased i am with victorinox. That really is amazing.

Haha oh yeah. And everytime this darn HP computers commercial comes on, im on my computer, i hear the new sound windows vista makes for e-mail and i always look at my start toolbar and am stumped as to how it knows i have mail without windows mail open! Then i remember the commercial. DUH.

I once dropped my SAK off of a ladder and broke one handle panel. I sent it in for repair expecting to pay a fee as I told them what had happened. They not only replaced the panel but also replaced the large blade which was worn down a lot. NO CHARGE. I love dealing with those folks and their service sold them a lot more SAK's.

wow what great posts, its amazing how principles like that manifest on every level of their business. I just got done posting on how flabergasted I am with Case knives yet the knife I carry every day is a swiss army trekker.
