I don't think alot of people know that there is a Cold Steel Forum that's just two weeks old.I know,It's been said before, "Why don't they have a forum of their own".Well now there is a place.

www.coldsteelforums.com/

It should have been warriorlifestyle.com :foot:

I was always taught that if you don't have anything good to say, you shouldn't say anything at all.

Well, then.

Guess I'll be movin' along now.

I just poodeed alittle.

I dont see the point in having their own knive forum

when their knives are crap compared to others. Just my 2 cents.

Hey, guys. They have their own forum now. Go tell them what you think and give us a break from the bashing for a while. Same old meaningless comments get old.

Some of these same old comments border on trolling.
Stick it in Whine & Cheese if you can't control your urge to spew.

I agree that cold steel isn't the best but there's no need to bash the poor guy. If he likes his knives that's what matters. They could spark his passion to look into more quality knives.
But next time don't spam for them please.

I registered on their forums earlier. Who knows, I might learn something. I enjoy several of their models, although I don't agree with some of the things they have done.

Nothing wrong with Cold Steel knives tho I admit that Lynn's advertising can be a bit over the top at times. They use good quality steel, have some great designs and if you don't buy from the company directly the prices are well in line. I just picked up a Master Hunter...US made in Carbon V from Sportsman's Warehouse for 60 bucks with Kydex sheath...excellent buy. I have several of their AUS 8 knives as well...they sharpen easily, hold an edge, and are made as well as many of the customs I have seen selling for 3 times the money. I understand that people with small minds get some form of satisfaction bashing the company...I guess if that makes you happy then go for it. But considering how well the company is doing I would say there are far more people who think Cold Steel makes a great product than those who probably have never owned one and simply bad mouth Cold Steel so they can feel like part of the "in" crowd.

You know I have not been a member for long here and nor have I posted much, but I have read much. I will be honest and say that I like Cold Steel products not because of what they say, but because I own them and have used them. After reading this thread and a few others I see how fake this forum and few of its members are.
Many of you criticize Lynn Thompson for his advertising methods saying he lacks class, but I see that much of the people posting here are no different. Such hypocrisy...
I also read a lot of anger posts rather than criticism post which leads me to believe bladeforums and few old school members have other agendas.
I have read many great posts on this forum, but at the same time I don't see this forum being legit in many ways.
I originally joined this forum because I genuinely wanted to discuss knives and my passion for them. I think bladeforums originally started out with good intentions and genuine passion for knives, but over time it has moved away from that.
I think it's tragic that few old school haters have really taken the joy out of knives.
I know that many of you will find this post offensive and my apologies for that. At the same time I really would like to thank the most of you for your posts, I really enjoyed reading them. As for me I see that I do not belong in this community, for my hobbies and passion is in judging knives not people.
And yes I will join Cold Steel forums, Spyderco forums, Benchmade Forums, Busse forums, Knife Test forums, knives.com etc.
