I would join the CS forum, but to make a difference for the better would take way too much time.
It only takes a few minutes to find threads with all sorts of misinformation about how great CS is (eg. the revolutionary San Mai steel:thumbdn:).

This forum has taught me many things always a good thing to learn new stuff no matter how so i say make your own decsions and dont let other peoples influence anything you ever do .

Amen.

knife1001, you are overinterpreting. There are a few people who oppose CS vocally. There are a few others who jump into any dogpile for fun. There are also quite a few who support CS, if not LT.

Bashing Bladeforums in turn is hardly the moral high ground. But if that's the way you feel, you are welcome to leave anytime. [shrug]

knife1001 and LEGION12,

I apologize for my silly remarks. I like Cold Steel brand knives, have recently bought (American Lawman) and received (K-4) two of their knives and have been very pleased. I've seen people pay well over $200 for a knife, plus $50 for its sheath and then another $40-50 to have the blade reground and still end up with a blade that doesn't cut as well as a K-4 which only cost $25 shipped with an exceptionally well-made sheath.

They make great cutlery, keep upping the ante a little bit at a time with designs from Demko and Boguszewski (amongst others), and usually keep the prices low. And I don't know of another company that paid royalties to Spyderco for using pocketclips on their folding knives.

My bad for the teasing.

I apologize as well, I have nothing against Cold Steel, however I did find the OP's post Spammish, hence my response.:o

I like Cold Steel... I use their hawks in my Bush Kits... Well made stuff.

Rick
