WOW WOW OMG SUPER WOW(its about pivot lubricant)

Well, I'm one of those guys that can speak english, but use the SI metric system. I'm getting quite confused, since I don't know if it is a name of mesureament you guys use, or if it is a mistake.

In the SI system, "mm" stands for millimeters, that is 1⁄1000 of a metre. And that should be 1 millimeter = 0.0393700787 inch. Also note that they are not capital letter. (Beeing the liter the only one that can be represented by l or L in the SI system - wich is the scientifically accepted anyway)
Also molecules (the smallest particule of a coumpound with at least 2 atoms) are not easilly measured, and the only route to that will be from atoms and the distance beetween the bonds, and are only measured in armstrong wich are 1/10,000,000,000 metres. So measuring it with a measuring tape or ruller just makes no sense.

What you experienced is called "humour". You will find a lot of it on this forum. Some of us enjoy it.

I like to to wipe the lubricant off down to a layer two molecules thick. That way I have an extra molecule in case I need it.

I have a friend that like to leave three molecules, but I think that's just overkill. Plus why would you want to carry that extra weight around?

Well, you could keep it on there if needed for something else. It would be like carrying a personal survival kit....for lubricant. I mean, you can;t just carry two molecules of lubricant in your pocket, but....if it was stored on your knife blade, why, you're ready for any lubricating job! Besides, two molecules won;t really bog a guy down that much.

That's true -- I didn't think of that.

I did try to carry a few molecules in my pocket once, just for an emergency, but as has been pointed out they are very small, and they were very difficult to retrieve.

i keep a ziplock bag full of molecules just in case, in my rucksack.
i hand them out at the LRRP lol
