Wrap on snowshoes broke

I have a pair of Axis 930 snowshoes and the wrap that kkeps the deck on has worn through. I can't use the snowshoes now and I wanted to know if I could just use zip ties instead of having it relaced. I don't even know where to take it to have it relaced anyway. I use my shoes alot whether on the snow covered sidewalk or in the fields running around. They have a great number of miles for a city boys main transportation in the winter. Opinions?
 
do you mean the spiral wrap cord that goes all around the frame, and is laced to the sheet deck?

I would'nt use zip ties, they break in the cold pretty fast. Maybe get a big length of rawhide lacing, wet it and lace it thru then coat it in varnish to seal it.
 
are there grommets in the deck holes? if not i would add some to keep the leather from cutting on the plastic.
