Speaking of the steel I have seen in CPM charts that S90V had toughness similar to M4. Any comments on its real world toughness?

It's primary function is to cut paper and remove staples. It should be able to remove a splinter if you take care of it and not pry to hard. lol!!!!

so got the scales laminated and profiled today. just waiting on hardware for final drilling and countersinking. scales are cf with tin red liners.
