Thank you for sharing!

Enjoy them I did!!
Very fine photography and real nice images.
Funny how pictures have a hard time getting the perspective of steep isnt it!
How heavy a pack did you take for the day?
Im going to look up that walk and see exactly where it is
Thanks for posting
Dan'l

Steep is very hard to display.
Pack weight was very light, mainly water and a few snacks. All my survival/emergency stuff stays in the pockets and around my neck.

That Californian blue sky is something, isn't it? Especially when you get out of that omnipresent smog....
Beautiful images.
I usually hike Mt. Baldy area, but definitely gotta check this place out.
Thanks for shearing.

Never been to CALI. but I sure did enjoy the nice photos, wish I was there!!::)

Naive people mistakenly sell So. Calif. short! This is understandable for folks who never see anything but the airport, Disneyland, or downtown LA, but the whole place is actually surrounded by wild lands....

From my house, I can be surfing, snow skiing, hiking in the mountains, or riding my dirt bikes/ATV's in either the high or low desert, all within no more than a quick hours drive (I could even do it all on the same day)! And....in three hours I can be high in the eastern Sierra (camping in the snow)....or exploring Death Valley.

If you live at low elevation here, summers truely suck, but on weekends you can always get away to the mountains or beach. But, the other three seasons are pure heaven! Think about me flying through the Mojave desert on my desert race preped quad, next time you are shoveling snow.....

Thanks for the kind words. I think it is a combo of a few things. I have a Polarizer but that along won't keep the sun from washing everything out. I used a small aperture and fast shutter speed to get the shot without the overpowering bright sun ruining it. Hope that helps!
