I take some modified Cold Steel hawks to the venues I use to sell my hand axes. They show what can be done with standard hawks. Several women asked about hawks for them. So, I took the hawk in the attached picture to my last show.

Thanks guys for the comments. I agree with you. However, you would not believe the reception by the ladies at the gun show. A few were like us, but most were sort of ooohing and aaaahing over it. One was going to modify a hawk like it and bought an ammo can to pink camo as well. I am not a great camo artist as you pointed out Jay. I had fun with it at the show.

My wife likes it i think your on to something maybe there will be more ladyhawk nuts now .

Thanks Mrs. Legion! I hope you are right Legion about ladyhawk nuts. More and more ladies are getting involved with guns, shooting, and hunting. Everyone knows if you have something that goes bang, you have to have something sharp to go with it!

I bet a pink tomahawk does the same work as any other. Just guessin' though, never tried one. ;)

If my daughter wanted a pink tomahawk, I'd just be pumped that she wanted a hawk at all...13 or 14 years down the road, that is.

You do now that means less toy for us . But anything for the cause i say all you need to make now is a purse with a internial hawk holder and they will be good to go . Just remember whos idea that was ! The lady hawk and handbag combo.

Everyone is quick to judge if something doesnt fit in their area of comfort.

If someone will buy it, or it creates a positive stir for you, have at it. You have the right. Why stick with the norm? Everything changes.

Thank you all for your comments. I did this as a lark. I have had more fun with it than you can imagine. If you look at the diversity of comments, you will see some of what I mean by the fun. Always stir the pot when you get a chance. I had a young lady come by yesterday to buy some ammo boxes from me for her dad. She asked if I would have the hawk at the gun show in two weeks. I told her I would. She said she would have the money for it then and wanted to buy it. Then she showed me her 2 year old daughter sitting in her infant seat dressed in pink camo.
